The truth: I believe the SAT to be an outdated test and not a particularly good way of evaluating a student’s portfolio of work. It does not accurately reflect a student’s potential. However, the other truth is that most schools still require students to take the SAT / ACT.

I have been teaching SAT for the past 3 years. I have studied, analyzed, and detailed out every question from a dozen old SAT exams. I know how to help students score really high on the SAT. The average SAT Math score for my students is over 750 with a number of perfect 800 scores. The average SAT Writing / Reading score for my students is over 700.

Education

I am passionate about education, learning, and helping young children reach their potential.

• Seven years ago, I started a medical exam prep website and app, Knowmedge, that has now served thousands of students worldwide in their quest to become doctors, nurses, and physician assistants.

• Three years ago, I started teaching SAT Math at the Ohio Contemporary Chinese School.

• In 2021, I will be opening a new learner-driven elementary school, 360 Academy, for students ages 6-11.

Professional

My professional background is primarily in statistical modeling and corporate strategy. I have worked in a variety of industries including investment banking, commercial banking and consumer packaged goods.

Personal

I live in Columbus, OH (Lewis Center / Worthington Area) with my wife and 1-year old daughter. I completed my undergraduate degree from Ohio State and my MBA from the University of Michigan.
